Moderate Rehabilitation Program
This is a section 8 project-based program that requires applicants to move into specified units in order to receive rental assistance. Applicants who indicate an interest in this program will be contacted by mail when a landlord notifies Sioux Falls Housing that one of these apartments and/or houses will be available to rent. Landlords of these properties have signed long-term contracts with Sioux Falls Housing. In these contracts, each landlord agrees to rent to applicants from our waiting list. Please click on this tab for further information regarding Mod Rehab.
Do I Qualify?
Mod Rehab units are located in different areas of Sioux Falls. The landlords are responsible for tenant selection. Rent and security deposits are based on 30% of the tenant's adjusted monthly income. Rental assistance cannot be transferred to another unit when the tenant moves out.
